Arts Administration

Bachelor of Arts
School of Arts and Sciences
Four-Year Degree

The Arts Administration degree merges the study of the arts with concentrations in business and communications. The degree equips students with a liberal arts education combined with a comprehensive overview of the technology of business: leadership, finance, and marketing.

As a result, students combine a comprehensive education in disciplines of art, music or theatre with a broad understanding of the business world that emphasizes management and administrative skills. The program underscores the application of information learned in the classroom to hands-on, relevant work experiences, including volunteer activities, internships and paid work both on- and off-campus.

Key Benefits

  • Westminster is the only college in the Inter-mountain West to offer an Arts Administration degree.
  • Learning opportunities based on experiences outside the classroom are an important component of the program. This includes: volunteer activities, internships, and paid work both on- and off-campus.
  • Students benefit from cross-disciplinary course work and expert faculty instruction from two of Westminster's finest programs—the Gore School of Business and the School of Arts & Sciences.
  • Westminster students can cross-over disciplines easily, gaining exposure to contemporary professional artists working on campus, becoming involved in student productions, and participating in hands-on business experience relevant to real-world situations.
