Daniel K. Cairo
Daniel serves as the Director of Student Diversity and Inclusion Center and Interim Assistant Dean of Students. Daniel coordinates the center's efforts to make Westminster College a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable campus. As a strong advocate for student inclusion
and success, Daniel's efforts focus on increasing the visibility and inclusion of students who are of color, queer, gender non-binary, first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities. Daniel's areas of expertise include social justice education, inter-group dialogue, neoliberalism critique, interpersonal violence and prevention
education, first-generation student engagement, student development, leadership, and all things Harry Potter. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting, with a minor in Ethnic Studies, and holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah and
a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Daniel is currently a doctoral student in the Higher Education Administration program at the University of Utah's Educational Leadership and Policy.
