One Westminster is a 1-day fundraising campaign on March 4 that celebrates Westminster and makes a statement about the value of a Westminster education. Alumni, parents, friends, faculty, students, and staff join forces to show their pride, supporting academic excellence and meaningful experiences through a few individual initiatives. You can track our progress throughout Giving Day and follow along on social media.
Give where the need is greatest. Gifts to the Westminster Fund support and elevate every aspect of the student experience, providing research supplies, supporting campus activities, and more.
Westminster offers a unique liberal arts education that serves as the gateway to a lifetime of meaningful experiences and the achievement of personal and professional goals. Gifts to scholarships make a Westminster education
attainable and directly impacts students.
Westminster recently transitioned to NCAA Division II athletics, setting the stage for the future of the athletic program. Gifts to the athletics program support student-athletes in the classroom and in competition. Go Griffins!
Westminster’s nationally recognized Honors College attracts high-achieving students to an alternative, interdisciplinary general-education experience. Gifts to the Honors College support Honors students as they present their research at national and international conferences.
Students challenge Westminster to integrate inclusive excellence into all parts of campus and the student experience. Gifts to the office empower Westminster to continue to create an inclusive campus community and lead
conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion in Utah.
Students in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business compete in national business valuation competitions. Gifts to the Dean's Fund help the School of Business continue its winning streak.
The Westminster Fund supports and elevates every aspect of the student experience. Your gift to the Westminster Fund makes a direct, immediate impact in the lives of students, giving the college the flexibility to respond to the interests
and greatest needs of the community. The support of undergraduate research, mentorship programs, student activities, student health and wellness, and more makes Westminster a home for current and future Griffins.
Westminster scholarship recipients value education—but not just any education. They deeply appreciate Westminster’s tight-knit community, their personal relationships with professors, and the experiential learning opportunities
they receive. Your gift to support scholarships makes a liberal arts education attainable for the next generation of change-makers, and eases the financial commitment of students, all of whom come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
Gifts to Westminster's athletics program provide Westminster the ability to provide crucial scholarship assistance to student-athletes in addition to support for travel, facility improvements, and program enhancements. Westminster’s
recent transition to NCAA Division II athletics has had a positive impact on student-athletes and coaches and has set the stage for the future. Westminster is the most efficient program in its conference in terms of operations and
scholarship allocation. Your gift plays a significant role in the student-athlete experience, both in the triumphs of our athletic teams and a student’s success in the classroom.
The interdisciplinary learning model of Westminster’s nationally recognized Honors College encourages students to explore beyond their chosen area of study. Honors students are hungry for rigorous courses, complex conversations, and
an alternative general-education experience. Your support will sustain the new Honors Student Research Fund, which aids students who present their research at national and international conferences.
At Westminster, students constantly challenge and charge the college to be accountable, responsible, and responsive to the evolving lived experiences of community members. The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion weaves inclusive
excellence into all areas of campus. Your support provides resources for student and faculty ideas that will create a more inclusive community, empowering Westminster to offer diversity-centered resources to the campus, alumni, and local
businesses and nonprofits.
The Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business Dean’s Fund supports unique opportunities for business students. Last year, students performed exceptionally well at a national business valuation competition, and Dean of the School of
Business, Örn Bodvarsson, wants to encourage more students to participate. Your gift to the fund will directly support competition registration, travel, and other exciting educational experiences for business students, helping them
adapt to the changing social, technological, and economic landscape, and preparing them for lifelong learning.
